AGRITECHNICA – the facts of the fair 2011

More than 415,000 expert visitors, including about 100,000 from outside Germany, came to the Exhibition Grounds in Hanover.

With 24 exhibition halls, over 388,000 m² exhibition floor space and more than 2,700 exhibitors, AGRITECHNICA  is the world’s largest exhibition for agricultural machinery and equipment.

The enormous interest of experts and farmers is documented by a tremendous 18 % increase compared to the fair in 2009.

With round about 18.000 deciders and investors - a 25% increase - from Central and Eastern Europe the AGRITECHNICA turns out to be the most interesting attraction pole for agricultural machinery.

Besides tractors as well as transport and harvesting technology the visitors were very enthusiastic about seeing special offers just like forest equipment or communal technics.

The permanent development of electronics and sensor technology assigns nowadays the degree of innovation.
